Mil Spouse Friday Fill In
1. If you were a famous movie star, what types of movies would you star in?
Comedy...I like to think I'm pretty funny. Or are people just laughing AT me???
2. What is a vacation you would like to take if money were no object?
Italy. I want eat all the Italian food my stomach can hold. I want to see all the Italian architecture. I want to shop at Prada!!! And I want to BE in the places where my grandparents and great grandparents were!!
3. Did you have pets growing up?
We always had a dog and a couple of cats. We had a few birds when I was little but I let them out of the cage...my dog ate one and the other one flew away.
4. What do you do for exercise?
I go to the gym every morning for a class. Either weight training or cardio. I am back at the gym 4 nights a week for Zumba.
5. What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received as a MilSpouse?
Don't compare your situation with anyone elses. You might have friends that arent familiar with the military. So when their husband goes on a 2 week business trip and they miss him...don't give her shit. SHE MISSES HIM! When your neighbor is always one uping you (her husband has been there, done that), just ignore it. Let her be the bitch, not you. And lastly...brush off the drama. Because there WILL be some.

Birthday
We had Big Sis' Birthday party early this year so she could celebrate with her friends before the move. I put the whole party together pretty last minute but it turned out great. We had about 22 kids and 20 adults people come out and celebrate. We are so blessed to have so many great friends. The kids had a blast in the bouncy house. It was a "despicable me" theme. My kids are obsessed with that movie!!!! (I think its pretty funny too) The minion cake turned out amazing!!! I had so many awesome decorations but didnt get pics of anything really. Big Sis had a great time though so thats all that matters. Here are a couple pictures. I also have some pictures from SeaWorld I will post soon too!
Now that the party is over, it's time to really focus on the move. We are having a big yard sale next weekend since we have to get rid of all of our furniture. I can't believe we are flying out in 29 days. TMO comes next week!!!! Crazy!

A Vent!
This post is one, big, huge vent. So if you if you want to skip it...I understand.
PCSing sucks. Weather it's one state away or several countries away. We are in the middle of all of our overseas screening even though we should be done with it. Let me first say, it takes about 6 months to get everything completed in time for the big move. But we only had 3 months notice and we got started on it right away. At the begining of this week, but husband notified me that our weight limit went from 12,000 pounds down to 2500 pounds. This makes me angry because it happened to us during our last PCS. We spend 3 years putting a house together only to sell everything. So we started over in Tampa and spend another 3 years putting a house together, now to sell it all again. GGRR!!
Yesterday we went to our final screening at base. I thought it would be a breeze. Silly me. They put Big Sis in the EFMP because of her asthma and speech delay. The kid was born in Okinawa. I know all about their medical care and they can definitely accommodate her asthma and there are options for speech therapy too. Being put in the program means all of our paper work goes to HQ Marine Corps in Quantico and that means it will take foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I informed our advisor that we already sold my car, and only have until Jan 31st to stay in our house. We have our fly out date so planned these things accordingly. It's either going to take forever for the approval (if we even get it) or they tell us we can't go. If we don't go, we will get orders elsewhere. I am so frustrated!!! Can I just snap my fingers and be there please??
